Weight Gain Can Have An Affect On You Emotionally And Physically

Weight gain can have a an effect on you emotionally and physically. Many can be over weight and still be happy in how they look and yet many are unhappy in how they look, it is an individual preference in how you feel concerning their weight and yourself in general. however the medically physical issues can be many such as but not limited to: heart issues, blood pressure, cholesterol, back pain, knee pain, etc. for every 1 pound you are over weight that is the same as 4 pounds of pressure on your knees. Examples: if you are 15 pounds over weight that is as if having 60 pounds of pressure just on your knees, if you are 30 pounds over weight it is as if having 120 pounds of pressure on your knees, if you are pounds over weight it is as if having 320 pounds of pressure on your knees and so on and so forth. So please be aware of the possible health issues and emotional issues it can bring with it. I have battled with my weight for many years and it isn't easy, yet I know it will be worth the final results if I keep trying to be healthier. So don't give up if you gain and lose and gain, just keep trying until you can get to your desired and healthy weight if you are actively working on weight loss. It can be easy to get frustrated I know I do at times then I remind myself it is just a bump in the road not a dead end and I try again and so should you. Life is about choices and changes so make a choice to get healthy and take the chances that come with it... tcc

Emotional Eating To Me Is A Form Self Abuse We Must Put A Stop To It Ourselves.., (I Know Because I Have Done It To Myself Over The Years)

Abuse comes in many forms some inflicted by others and some inflicted by ourselves as in my case over eating due to trauma in my life. I had to realize that although others may be a part of the reason they are not an excuse for me to over eat. I did it as a comfort, not because I was actually hungry. Are we bad and disgusting people for emotional eaters? I say no, we are a hurting people and once we learn to move forward we will grow emotionally and less physically from over eating. Now if you are working on this and find you still at times binge, please don't beat yourself up emotionally over it. Keep moving forward. Don't starve yourself either. I don't diet, I just try not to overeat, have I still done that at times when stress hits, yes I have, however I don't do it every time I am stressed now. We must stop abusing our bodies with over eating.

Moderation not starvation for emotional eaters and others...

So many people eat out of boredom and depression and that is two of the worse reasons to eat as then you become an emotional eater as I did. I  ate when I was happy or sad or bored and it surely packed on the weight. The weight always goes on much faster than it ever comes off.  When I was extrememly heavy I tried many diets from Jenny Craig, Physican's Weightloss and the Cabbage Diet amoung others well here's what I found; those diets works fast and you lost 2-7 pounds a week but here's the problem I found with them once you stopped using each of those diets and went back to trying to do it on your own the weight came back like a flood gate opening. So I finally stopped dieting and chose to do it my way and I am now about 170 pounds lighter without yo-yo dieting and without the expensive meals most of us can't afford now anyway and I just ate differently. I still eat my favrite foods including snacks and and sweets and fast foods. So now instead of eating two Value Meals at a time I eat one if I want it. Instead of eating a can of frosting I now have a tablespoon of it or a piece of cake not half the cake to curb the craving. So it's all about moderation not starvation my friends.
